If you’re used to your standard Chips Ahoy cookies that you’d find in the cookie aisle at the supermarket, you’re in for a surprise. These “soft sandwich cookies” are not what you’d expect, although they carry a lot of the same flavor profile components that you expect from the original. They come in boxes, with a soft outer cookie component and a creamy filling. You can choose between:

How Its Packaged

It has to be said that there’s a certain novelty factor to seeing our favorite domestic snacks in exotic, international packaging. So, it’s hard not to be drawn in just by looking at the package that these cookies come in. The packaging looks like nothing we’re used to over here, as even the logo is not written in English. The boxes do have nice color schemes and an overall design that adds to their appeal.

Now, one thing you do need to keep in mind is that none of the writing on these bags is in English – after all, this product comes from an Asian country. So, unless you happen to know the language of the country that your particular flavor comes from, good luck understanding the information on the bag, like the ingredients list.

Awesome Flavors

We couldn’t resist trying both flavors, and who could blame us? They’re totally different from each other and super appealing in their own way.

• Chocolate Chunk is a chocolate lover’s dream, with a super-rich cookie flavor that’s stuffed to the brim with cookie dough and chocolate chunks – as described earlier. It’s just everything you want when you’re stoned, if we’re being honest, because it’s rich, creamy, and sweet, without being overwhelming or synthetic-tasting.
• Cranberry Muffin is bit more of an oddball, but we’re pleased to say that it’s every bit as tasty in its own way, and perfect for someone who’s craving a fruitier taste when the munchies kick in. There is even a nice tartness that’s balanced out by the rich and creamy filling.
