I had already left a review here before they emailed me asking to make one so refer to that one for some prior details, but I will reiterate that Amanita in general as a substance is pretty incredible for its spiritual, self-healing, and therapeutic properties. Even over a week after ingesting these, I am still a changed person due to the incredible ‘mental’ trip I had. These are great if you allow them to be. Also, no weird side effects even when I did a 2500mg dose, so that’s cool! My trip lasted probably 8+ hours and even on the come-down I still felt giggly and euphoric. They also greatly enhance sleep. I would like to see Elyxr introduce more products of this sort in the future. It is easy to see why Amanita mushrooms and similar products are growing in popularity, it’s because they truly ARE medicinal and can greatly improve ones quality of life.

They tasted good but I ended up having to take three to feel a buzz. I guess two would be plenty for a decent buzz.

I am generally resistant to gummies unfortunately, which is something that is just how it is with some people. That said, I still had a good time with these, and will explain.
I took one full gummy and waited an hour and didn’t feel much of a buzz at all. Waited an hour again and felt something, but not much, then it petered off. So I took another gummy. Waited an hour and felt slightly more elevated, but it petered off again. So I took one last gummy, about 5 hours after the first gummy I took around 9pm that night. This is where things started to pick up.
It was around 3:30 AM when I started to get frustrated at the lack of any strong feeling, since supposedly Pantherinas are 3-4x more potent than Muscarias. 30 minutes later I started to feel… Good. Real good. The type of actual euphoric ‘wow everything is great’ good. It wasn’t overpowering, and there was no brain fog, it was a slow and gradual release and it finally remained constant. Generally just a nice, soft body-wide and mellow relaxation.
The thing that caught me off guard is how long it took for it to activate in my system. I ate a small amount of food over time and washed it down with a lot of water as well to try to aid in digesting it all quicker. Once the gummies started breaking down and my system absorbing and interfacing with the molecules, the high got stronger and then it just lasted for – ultimately – perhaps 12+ hours overall? And then I had amazing sleep where I apparently transcended my earthly body because someone tried to wake me and laughed when they told me I was basically frozen in my chair.
So, I think the experience can and will vary wildly for a lot of folks. This isn’t psilocybin so don’t go expecting anything like that. I didn’t have a mind-melting trip but I’m sure it’s possible if other testimonies from users of Amanita are accurate, it’s just that it might require a much larger dosage than previously anticipated.
One last thing to mention is the headspace it puts you in: amanita is noted historically for being used in religious and spiritual practices and traditions, and after trying it I can see why. It puts you into a fairly introspective, almost nostalgic vibe, and somehow at least for my initial experience, I was able to casually ‘view’ and study/re-assess traumatic moments from my entire life and effectively squash residual trauma and dark energy that was weighing me down. It might sound like a bunch of shlock, but I literally experienced it, so for me it’s easy to be at ease about it. Because of this, I personally view amanita as more of a medicine (which all of these products generally are, let’s be real here), especially because of its ability to also effectively lower/eliminate anxiety, paranoia, stress, and also aids sleep quality quite well.
The taste was also surprisingly decent. You can still taste some of the mushroom extract in there, but it’s not bad at all. The smell when you open the container is divine.

Great texture and flavor without lingering after taste. The effects are calming and made for a pretty great game night. I think I’d go for the one without sprinkles next time just because I think they were a bit much for me, but these would be great to share with friends! I have yet to be disappointed by Elyxr. Love ‘em.
